ARGENTINA
Argentina is a huge country (the 8th largest in the world) that possesses a great variety of natural wonders, interesting culture, a bustling nightlife, an opportunity for winter sports, wonderful festivals, scrumptious food, endless chances for wine tasting, tango dancing, and much, much more.
The country boasts the highest and the lowest points of South America, with Cerro Aconcagua being the tallest at an altitude of 6,960 meters above sea level and Laguna del Cabrín being the lowest, with an altitude of 105 meters below sea level.
The name Argentina comes from Latin language. Argentum means “silver” and it is what the Spanish conquerors were after when they first reached the region.
A stroll through Buenos Aires’ or Cordoba’s bustling city life, a night of dancing tango, skiing down the Andes, admiring the world renowned and jaw-dropping Iguazú Falls, an excursion to the southernmost tip of the Americas, Tierra de Fuego (“Land of Fire”) are just some of the many things you can do while in this country that will heighten your senses like no other.
BRAZIL
Brazil is a huge country that possesses a great variety of natural wonders, interesting culture, a bustling nightlife, a diverse wildlife, beautiful beaches, wonderful festivals, scrumptious food, samba dancing, and much, much more.
Brazil comes from the Portuguese word for brazilwood, a tree that once grew plentifully along the Brazilian coast. Brazil is the fifth biggest country in the world and is bordered by all countries in South America except for Ecuador and Chile. This big country covers 47% of the continents land area. Brazil contains a major portion of the Amazon river basin and contains one third of Latin America’s population.
CHILE
Chile is a long, narrow country stretching along South America’s western edge with more than 6000 kilometer of Pacific Ocean coastline. Bordered by Peru in the north, Bolivia in the north-east and Argentina in the east. Today, Chile is one of South America’s most stable and healthy nations.
Chile has something for everyone. Go skiing in the Andes, surf big waves in the Pacific Ocean or go on a nice trek to one of the world's largest volcanoes. In this diverse country you can also find, Algarobbo City, the biggest pool in the world and the Atacama Desert, the driest place on earth, where it has never rained before. Here you will also find amazingly cute penguins and other wildlife.
COLOMBIA
Colombia has coasts on both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and covers about 440,000 square miles (1.14 million square kilometers). It is home to the Amazon rainforest, Andes mountains, and the Llanos ( grassland plains).
Colombia is the fourth largest country in South America and it has several islands in the Atlantic and Pacific (San Andres and Providencia, and in the Pacific, the Malpelo and Gorgona, respectively). It shares borders with Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. Some of the major cities include Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla.
COSTA RICA
Pura vida (“real life”) has become the unofficial motto of Costa Rica. And for a reason. Costa Rica is, in essence, a slice of tropical paradise in Central America, and its inhabitants, AKA “the ticos”, are justifiably proud of it. Perfect waves for surfing, breathtaking sunsets, misty crater lakes, waterfall-filled hiking trails, white-water rapids, sun-kissed beaches, adventure-filled paths and wildlife that includes howler monkeys, capuchins and other friendly-looking animals await you in this small, yet magnificently varied country.
PERU
Peru is the third largest country in South America; a country known for its incredible cultural heritage such as the renowned Machu Picchu and the remains of the Inca Empire. Although the Incas are the most famous ones, there are other manifestations of pre-Columbian cultures and unexplored archaeological sites which can be located in the North of Peru. This magnificent land composed of a variety of landscapes, climates and biodiversity, is visited by tourists from all over the world.
In Peru, it is possible to enjoy a range of activities from surfing in the Northern beaches to hiking in the Andes Cordillera, from trekking in the humid and hot Amazon rainforest to visiting cultural sites, excellent museums, and enjoying traditional dishes. Peruvian people are very friendly, warm, and ready to help or to introduce you to their customs. You will find in these regions a great diversity of ethnic groups, festivities, handcraft, and gastronomy.
Peru is a country of contrasts where the crazy traffic is surpassed by the majesty of mountain ranges. You will find cities peaking at altitudes of more than 6700 meters, infinite beaches with beautiful sunsets, the magically diverse landscape of the tropical rainforest and let’s not forget about the llamas.
SAINT LUCA
Saint Lucia is an island nation in the Caribbean known for its volcanic beaches, reef-diving sites, dense rainforests, fishing villages, lush scenery, luxurious resorts, tropical weather, hidden golden beaches, crystal-clear waters, its unique drive-in volcano, and “the Pitons”, which are two striking peaks and one of the many scenic highlights not only of Saint Lucia, but of the whole Caribbean Region. Saint Lucia is often a less popular destination among its neighbours due to its more remote location. However, this tiny country possesses unbeatable natural wonders and cultural legacy like no other!
