Step 2: Fundraise & Rehearse
Once you have selected your trip and paid your deposit, it's time to fundraise and create a fun show.
Fundraising: As Circus for Humanity is a project created by Humanitarian Clowns, we are a registered charity and have all the required fundraising licenses and have our DGR status with the ATO (can issue tax deductible receipts).
Humanitarian Clowns will happily work with you with your fundraising campaign.
Some Ides: Performance show, raffles, auctions, gofundme campaigns, gala night, Bunnings BBQ, obtain corporate sponsorships, approach lions club or Rotary etc etc....

Create a Show: Utilise the time whilst fundraising to practise putting together a fun and entertaining show with your students.

Please consider the following when creating a show:
- we will be traveling around so consider the props you use (for example ariel rigs would be to hard to travel with, consider floor acts)
- Avoid using any toxic humour (violent slapstick) as many have experienced this in their personal lives.
- Consider cultural appropriate acts and costumes (not revealing)
- Consider audience participation
- Most of all have fun co-creating with all those that are included
Step 3: Prepare:
Now it's time to prepare for the trip: obtain your passports, book your group flights, obtain visa prior if required, get any required immunisations, pack your bag of clothing and props and get ready for a trip of a lifetime.
(we have a travel agent that can assist if required)
