Step 1: Choose what Country you want to visit

Once you have selected the country you would like to visit from our range we have on offer, send Circus for Humanity an email with your circus name, number of participants (approx) and duration of trip (on average most select 2 weeks) and a timeframe of trip dates (we recommend 6-12 months away, to allow fundraising and rehearsals for performance show).

Circus for Humanity will create you a custom itinerary for your group with a quote

(our quotes will be priced per person)

Prices include: Airport pick up-drop off in host Country, same sex shared room accommodation, 3 meals per day, transport for group activities, locations to perform, cultural site seeing, local host guides, translators, cultural training and a member of Circus for Humanity to host your trip (optional).

Prices Excludes: Flights, visas, travel insurance, immunisations, airport transfers in your country, circus props, spending money, outside group activity activities (shopping in your own time etc... )

*Please note not all destinations are available for Compassionate Clowning Groups

Step 2: Fundraise & Rehearse

Once you have selected your trip and paid your deposit, it's time to fundraise and create a fun show.

Fundraising: As Circus for Humanity is a project created by Humanitarian Clowns, we are a registered charity and have all the required fundraising licenses and have our DGR status with the ATO (can issue tax deductible receipts).

Humanitarian Clowns will happily work with you with your fundraising campaign.

Some Ides: Performance show, raffles, auctions, gofundme campaigns, gala night, Bunnings BBQ, obtain corporate sponsorships, approach lions club or Rotary etc etc....

Create a Show: Utilise the time whilst fundraising to practise putting together a fun and entertaining show with your students.

Please consider the following when creating a show:

- we will be traveling around so consider the props you use (for example ariel rigs would be to hard to travel with, consider floor acts)

- Avoid using any toxic humour (violent slapstick) as many have experienced this in their personal lives.

- Consider cultural appropriate acts and costumes (not revealing)

- Consider audience participation

- Most of all have fun co-creating with all those that are included
